My name is Rocky Lane (he/him), I operate as a consultant for underserved community lead projects and advocate for a world where people can live free and thrive.
I am currently designing a prototype with my team from Project Liferaft to assist in decreasing the costs of forced relocations and general underserved group aide operations in hostile territories in the United States.
What began as an effort to liberate and stabilize diverse life experiences in Central Texas, one of the most diverse regions in the world, Project Liferaft has uncovered a concerning trend of underfunded, highly effective direct service projects that are the impact points of the movement.
Our aim is to strategize and find creative resources and solutions for issues without support and people caught in the churn or change. We combine all stakeholders for change and champion direct action progress including our own, using community lead and focused methods and designing programs and grant writing collaborations that place value on crucial operations. Our own expansion into safehousing design and prototyping is our attempt to invest in true change through risky innovative ideas that are severely underfunded in housing and relocation direct services.
We fundraise to build toward our own vision of a world that aims to keep everyone afloat. We hope to do so sustainably and for a thriving future generation of humans of diverse experiences.
Our list of designated underserved communities is available upon request and in this current political upheaval is ever growing.
